Where the road goes from the airport
From SLL it is a few minutes into Salalah and the seafront. West, the coast road runs to the blowholes at Mughsail; north, the paved climb reaches Wadi Darbat, spectacular in the khareef season. Most of Dhofar is comfortable in a standard car, with a 4x4 reserved for the rougher mountain tracks.
